At GFM, we believe in the power of education - especially when it comes to making financial management decisions that affect you and your family. We want every consumer to be an informed consumer; unafraid to ask questions, confident about what to look for in a contract or how to read and repair a credit history. How many of us are really confident in the ability to secure credit when needed, or what the best terms are when doing so?

We don't want anyone to feel at a disadvantage when dealing with a lender, financial planner, banker, or anyone else they might choose to do business with. We want you to be empowered! To that end, we've designed a host of financial management workshops and learning opportunities that cover the financial topics you want to know about:

Building good credit
Surviving debt
Plus, much more!

And because we know that knowledge is not really powerful until it is applied, our financial management workshops are filled with tips and action steps you can start implementing right away, no matter what stage you are at in your financial life.

GFM Classes

GFM frequently offers personal financial management workshops in and around the Tampa Bay, Florida area. We fully understand and appreciate the fact that your life is busy. Finding time to attend a workshop on money matters - as interesting as it may sound - often gets pushed to the end of the list or falls off the list completely.

That is why we have tried to design our personal finance classes with busy people in mind. We offer single-session and multi-session classes in day, evening, and weekend formats at a variety of locations. We do require pre-registration, so that we can plan for adequate materials and class space. It is easy to sign up online or by just giving us a quick call.

Additionally, if you see a class or workshop you like, but it is not offered at a convenient time or location, please let us know. If you can get a group of at least five people together, we may be able to arrange a special presentation just for you. In this situation, we typically ask for a small contribution to help defray costs, as most of our financial management workshops and classes are provided free of charge.
