No Such Thing As Cheap Payday Loans
Whether you have had past experience with payday loans, or perhaps you are just thinking about taking a payday advance loan for the first time, there is no such thing as a cheap payday loan!
What Exactly Are Payday Loans?
Payday loans, commonly referred to as cash advance or payday advance loans, are short term loans usually offered to consumers with bad credit as a way to make ends meet. Typically, payday loan companies target borrowers who believe they have no other option. Because this is often considered predatory lending, and seen to be taking advantage of borrowers already experiencing financial difficulties, many states have passed extensive legislation to regulate how payday lenders are able to operate their businesses. In fact, some states have even banned payday advance loans altogether.
Understand The Trap
We have all experienced financial hardships. Sometimes it is hard to make ends meet from one paycheck to the next. But payday loans only make the situation worse. It is a trap, and here is why - the typical two week payday loan will charge borrowers what amounts to a 300% APR (annual percentage rate), and sometimes even more. Compare this to a normal credit card interest rate of about 30% APR for those with bad credit, and it is easy to see that there is just no such thing as a cheap payday loan. While the lending companies argue that they are just providing a service to those in need, from a consumer's standpoint, this is nothing more than highway robbery.
Break The Payday Loan Cycle
Unfortunately, most people that end up in the payday loan trap have a very difficult time getting out - it is all too common to be forced to continue taking out new loans in order to pay off the previously borrowed money. Are you ready to break the payday advance loan cycle? There are steps you can take to break free from the trap.
